How Change Desktop Icon Size, Font, icon spacing in Windows

XP :

Right Click Desktop -> Choose “Properties” -> In the Properties Window click on the “Appearance Tab” at the top ->In the Appearance Window click on “Advanced” -> In the Advanced Appearance Window choose “Item:” from the drop down list and choose “Icon” and you can choose desired Icon size and Font of icon



By default many users will see 32 x 32 pixels but this can be changed to whatever you want.


in same way In Advanced Appearance Window choose “Spacing” from the drop down list to change the Space between icon


Window 7 :

icon

Start -> Control panel -> Display (If you not get display change to Larger icons in "view by" at top) ->

Choose one of the following to change icon

Smaller - 100%. This keeps text and other items at normal size.

Medium - 125%. This sets text and other items to 125% of normal size.

Larger - 150%. This sets text and other items to 150% of normal size. This option appears only if your monitor supports a resolution of at least 1200 x 900 pixels.

Font

Start -> type "Make text and other screen items larger or smaller" on search bar -> press Enter ->
When the Display screen comes up, choose a new font size (Medium or Large) -> and click Apply

Icon space

Start -> type "Windows color and Appearance" on search bar -> press Enter -> Advanced -> In Advanced Appearance Window choose “Spacing” from the drop down list to change the Space between icon
