One of the poerful features provided by Windows 7 is its 'Network and
shaing center'. It can be accessed by right clicking its icon in the
notification area, wireless, broudband and VPN connections can be set up
using defferent network adapters or with an existing network PCS
connected to a windows 7 network get automatically detected. Many
commercal routers detect windows and immediaely offers to set up the
wireless network, while someless common models reqired manual
cofiguration using the "change Adapter settings" dialog box. The entire
network can be vied through "display overview" where the icons
displayed indicate active elements, clicking on the respective icon will
allow you configyre the router.
